STAGE 1 : The soft stage
Mainly used to adapt to the orthotics and initial correction. In this stage, the retainer must be worn every night for 1 to 2 months.
How to use :
As a start , the wearing time should be short , just a few minutes. Start at 2 minutes , then incrementally move to 5 , 10, 30 , to reach 60 minutes.
Do not bite the retainer tightly. wear the retainer for 1-2 hours during the day , when your teeth adapt to it , you can wear it for longer .
You should change stages in your teeth retainer kit when the current stage becomes easy to remove and no longer feels tight or uncomfortable on your teeth. If it starts to feel loose or like it might easily come off, it's time to move on to the next stage.
